Charities

I do a considerable amount of work on different charities in the area but these are a few close to home. Should you have any opportunities to share your time to help others, please feel welcome to contact me. We always love the help of others to further the success of charitable work.

Families of Abuse Society

An organization that contributes to women’s shelters in the Vancouver and lower mainland. With so many families in trouble, this organization sees to the needs of these families and that they have a safe place to go. Helping families in need!

I have worked in conjunction with this charity many times and will continue to ensure the continuance of funds and assistance. A great charity for a great cause.

SPCA

I work closely with the SPCA doing special events and BBQs to help fund the foster program of the SPCA to help those in need that have no voices. As you can see I have my own rescue dog and this is my 7th rescue Boxer. Myself and Dakota are out there to meet you all and work hard for our parks. Donations are made to the SPCA supported by your real estate purchases. I am helping you to help others. Watch for us.

Another very special charity close to home. I sponsor an annual dog fun day BBQ for the SPCA to raise funds to help local animals in need. The BBQ events are quite large and now include up to 9 dog parks and nature walks in the lower mainland. This fun day will be posted in my site every year … watch for it.   Information can be seen throughout the lower mainland. I love working closely with rescued animals and the community to make a difference and to help those without a voice.

I am a proud partner working together with the city of Surrey to keep our parks and nature walks clean so future generations can enjoy our parks. Assisting with the dog bags and park cleanups, I am just trying to do my part to keep our parks clean and help inform the public about the relationships between ourselves and our furry friends.

I work in conjunction with Realtors Care and the Salvation Army to clothe the less fortunate at a time when it matters most. I have personally seen the families come for a warm Christmas meal and leave with bags of warm clothing and bedding for their families with smiles on their faces. Please join me to help make our world a better place To live…

The REALTORS Care® Blanket Drive story

Way back in 1995, some caring REALTORS® in Vancouver observed the homeless situation in the city’s eastside and said to themselves, we’ve got to do something.

They put out an appeal to their colleagues for warm blankets and coats and collected enough donations to help 3,000 of Vancouver’s homeless in the downtown core.

That single act of kindness has blossomed into one of the largest annual collections of warm clothing and blankets, helping homeless people and the working poor in every single community in the Lower Mainland.

Since then, thousands of REALTORS® from Whistler to Hope have collected enough donations to help more than 225,000 people in need. Each year, more than 75 dedicated members pick-up and deliver all the donations, and well over 100 real estate offices in the Lower Mainland act as collection depots.

The REALTORS Care® Drive now collects an astonishing amount of warm, winter items on behalf of dozens of local charities to help about 20,000 people each year.
